President Trump warns Iran: It’s best not to retaliate

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that US President Donald Trump and Israel have crossed a red line and “will pay the price,” Iranian state television reported early on March 1.
He added that the country will continue on the path of Supreme Leader Khamenei.
On March 1, President Donald Trump continued to warn Iran that the US would attack Iran “with unprecedented force” if the Middle Eastern nation retaliated.
“Iran just announced that they will attack very strongly today, stronger than anything they’ve ever experienced before,” Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.
He added: “However, it’s best they don’t do it, because if they do, we will attack them with unprecedented force!”
The US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran on February 28th triggered a massive military response from Tehran, shaking security throughout the Middle East.
On the morning of March 1st, Iran announced multiple missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and US-related targets, while several Gulf states reported damage and casualties from retaliatory attacks.
Meanwhile, Iranian state media announced that the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Sayyid Abdolrahim Mousavi, had also been killed in the Israeli and US attack.
The death of Major General Mousavi comes after a series of assassinations of high-ranking Iranian leaders.
