UPDATE ON K-9 ROAM — THE WARRIOR OF COLORADO SPRINGS

Heroes come in many shapes and sizes — some walk on two legs, others on four.

After a long and arduous battle, K-9 Roam of the Colorado Springs Police Department is finally back home, resting and recovering alongside his former handler.

Thanks to the outpouring of support from the community, more than $68,000 has been raised for the Police Foundation of Colorado Springs to help cover Roam’s medical care. This incredible generosity is a testament to the love and respect we have for our four-legged heroes. And let’s not forget the other courageous K-9s who gave their own blood to help save their brother in blue.

K-9 Roam’s remarkable strength and resilience serve as a powerful reminder that courage, loyalty, and love are not bound by words — they are shown through actions. Roam’s journey of recovery is a testament to the unbreakable bond between humans and animals, and the dedication of those who serve alongside them.
