Sending Love and Strength to Lily

Sending Love and Strength to Lily
Lily continues to show incredible bravery as she faces the challenges of vincristine chemotherapy. This past weekend has been tough for her, with symptoms like tiredness, spots on her legs and head, and gum bleeding — but through it all, her smile never fades. Her strength in the face of adversity is a true inspiration to all of us.
The Medical Update
Lab results show that her white blood cell (WBC) count is at 0.3, hemoglobin is at 5.5, platelets are at 2, and neutrophils are at 11.6. These numbers help explain the symptoms she’s been experiencing. Today, at 1 PM, she’ll be receiving a much-needed blood transfusion to help boost her strength. Additionally, platelets are being ordered to aid her recovery. Tomorrow, she’ll be getting her vincristine chemo a day early, followed by platelets at 11 AM.
A True Fighter
Despite everything, Lily remains a true fighter, showing more resilience than many can even imagine. Her courage in the face of such challenges is a shining light for everyone who knows her.
Let’s continue to surround her with our thoughts, prayers, and love as she bravely moves forward on this journey. Lily, we are all lifting you up — stay strong, we are with you every step of the way.
