On February 28, Vietnamese embassies in the Gulf region, including Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, issued urgent notices advising Vietnamese citizens to limit unnecessary travel and avoid security-sensitive locations to ensure their safety.

The embassies also urged citizens to prepare for “staying put” when necessary; choose a safe location; stock up on essential supplies; and closely monitor information from authorities, official media, and embassy information channels. In case of need for emergency protection and assistance, the embassies requested Vietnamese citizens to contact the citizen protection hotline.
