“I WILL BE HERE… UNTIL THE LAST DAY”

“I WILL BE HERE… UNTIL THE LAST DAY”

In 2018, in the blink of an eye, David De Sárez’s life was shattered. One evening, his wife Bruna suddenly collapsed from a seizure. Her heart stopped beating, and she stopped breathing. The doctors managed to save her, but the damage to her brain was irreversible. From that moment on, Bruna was alive, but only because of machines—and David’s unyielding love.

He gave up everything: his job, his dreams, his financial stability—just to stay by her side, 24/7. Each day became a repeat of the last, as he dedicated himself to caring for her with devotion: feeding her spoonfuls of porridge, wiping her body, changing her diapers. He spoke to her for hours, telling her about the world outside, singing the songs she loved, even though she never responded.

David still calls her “honey.” He still believes, deep down, that Bruna hears him.

Six years have passed. Many people have urged him to move on. They ask, “Does she even know what you’re doing?”

David simply smiles and replies softly, “I know is enough. My vow is not to tell the world, but to tell her.”

The story of David and Bruna has touched hearts worldwide—not because of a miracle that happened, but because of the miracle that continues every single day.

David’s unwavering love, his promise to stay by Bruna’s side—whether in health or sickness, whether rich or poor—reminds us that true love isn’t always about grand gestures, flowers, or candles. Sometimes, it’s just a man sitting by his wife’s sickbed, holding her hand, and whispering softly, “I am still here, my love. Forever.”

David De Sárez has shown the world that true love does not abandon, does not tire, and never expires.

Thank you, David, for showing us what the most beautiful love truly looks like.
