The Rhythm of Three: Our Beautiful, Exhausting, Full-Armed Christmas

Our home this Christmas season doesn’t hum with quiet, seasonal calm; it pulses with a unique, beautiful chaos. Just look at the evidence: Three baby bottles perpetually lined up on the counter, waiting for their next rotation. Six tiny socks drying unevenly on the rack. And the glorious soundtrack of our life: little giggles and coos that pop up unexpectedly, breaking the silence like tiny fireworks.

The Christmas tree blinks slowly in the corner, and honestly, the whole house blinks with it—because sleep has become a whispered, distant luxury, and loving has become our daily, demanding, and most sacred routine.
Waiting for the Light

My partner, Elias, and I waited so long for this day—for the adoption finalization, for the medical all-clear, for the moment our three little miracles, Leo, Max, and Mia, finally came home. Now that they are here, even the simple string lights on the mantle seem to breathe in the same slow, exhausted, grateful rhythm as we do.
There’s no big production or perfectly styled holiday scene this year. The presents are wrapped with simple bows, often secured hastily with one hand. The floors are rarely spotless. But our arms are always, beautifully full. There is always a warm weight against a shoulder, a tiny hand wrapped around a finger, or a small face buried in our neck. We are masters of the one-handed burp, the synchronized feed, and the strategic nap.
This season is a blur of love, late-night rockings, and the overwhelming scent of baby powder. It is the hardest thing we have ever done, and yet, it is the only thing we ever truly wanted.

The Softest Light
If this photo—capturing a quick, cherished moment amidst the beautiful chaos—reaches you, we ask for just one thing: leave a blessing for us and for our beautiful trio.
We believe in the power of kind words. May every blessing, every good wish, and every message of love you write turn into a soft, protective light, gently hanging above their three tiny cribs. We are building this life on love and exhaustion, and we welcome every bit of spiritual fortification.

We wish you all a season of warmth, peace, and the kind of full-to-bursting love that only life’s greatest miracles can bring.
