DR. JANE GOODALL’S LAST WORDS IN TORONTO: “WE HAVE A CHANCE IF WE GET TOGETHER”

On September 3, 2025, at Meridian Hall in Toronto, Dr. Jane Goodall — the iconic woman of the Gombe Forest — stood before an audience that will never forget the warmth of her presence. Her message was as clear as it was powerful: “We have an opportunity ahead of us if we get together.”

As the world mourns her passing on October 1, 2025, those final words echo louder than ever.

She spoke directly to the young generation, her eyes sparkling with hope, her voice filled with conviction. Jane knew the future was uncertain, but she also knew one thing for sure — together, we have the power to change the world.

Her message was simple yet profound: We must unite. By working together, using our passion for change and supporting those who are already leading the way, we can still make a difference. Hope is not lost; it’s in our hands — and we must act with urgency, with intelligence, and with love.

Jane planted the seed of hope in Toronto, and now, that seed is growing — sprouting everywhere. The young people who she always believed in are rising up to lead the charge, and we must follow their example.
